We gather fishery products produced by fishermen and distribute them to consumption areas on a large scale. In addition, we are operating public markets at 5 inland locations (Gangseo, Garak, Guri, Jeonju, Gwangju) and 1 coastal location (Incheon).

Price support programs

To guarantee better prices for fishermen and provide stable prices to consumers, we regulate the supply and demand of fishery products by carrying out government stockpiling and purchasing support projects. We directly buy mackerel, pollack, squid, and other seafood, which are major consumption products, during the high catching season to support the price bottom. When demand and inflation are expected, we intensively release them through public and wholesale markets.

Tax-exempt Fuels Supply for fishermen

To support stable, dependable fishing livelihoods and to help fishermen increase their income, we secure a steady supply of tax-exempt fuels purchased at low prices through competitive bidding to expand their distribution.

Fishing gear and apparatus supply business

To reduce the purchase cost for fishermen and increase fishing efficiency and safety operation, we purchase and supply fishing equipment such as engines, ropes, and fishing nets required for offshore fishing vessels.
